XF Charts Version 0.315 Release Notes

XF Charts Version 0.315 Release Notes

We have spent the last weeks rebuilding how backtesting and multi window trading work in XF Charts. This release is focused on replay, multi window layouts and the workflow around them.

Below is an overview of what landed in this version.

Backtesting and Replay

  • New on demand backtest mode that loads history the moment you open it and plays without blanking the chart.
  • Server paced replay so the footprint, order book heatmap and DOM all replay together from real history.
  • Demand driven layers, true tick by tick stepping with the arrow keys, and a live countdown from the server playhead.
  • Speeds from one to fifty times, with a twelve hour heatmap trail backfilled on open.

Multi window and Layouts

  • New multi window live mode backed by a shared dxFeed hub, so several charts stream from one connection.
  • Three and four panel split layouts with full per panel isolation.
  • Cross chart drawing linking, with a per window drawing scope so each layout stays clean.

Improvements

  • Smoother candle stepping on browser direct data with no snap back.
  • Cold open heatmap trail with graded colors.
  • Prague session defaults and a saner speed cap.

Final Notes

This update focused on backtesting depth and a real multi window workflow.

As always, your feedback continues to guide what we build next.
